McSilver Executive Director Co-Authors Study Showing Depression Treatment Racial Gap

Dr. Michael A. Lindsey is a co-author of the study showing Black caregivers involved in the child welfare system get less depression treatment.

NYU McSilver Gets Added NIMH Funding to Study Engagement by Youth of Color in Depression Treatment

NYU McSilver has received additional NIMH funding to study the effectiveness of a novel treatment intervention for keeping Black adolescents engaged in depression treatment. The additional funding will add expand the population sample to include Latinx youth.

Addressing Suicide Among Latina and Black Male Youth

The discussion was moderated by Debralee Santos, the Editor-in-Chief of Manhattan Times and The Bronx Free Press. Panelists included: Dr. Rosa M. Gil, Founder, President and CEO of Comunilife, Inc., Dr. Michael A.
