McSilver COO: Give to Haitian-Led Relief Groups

Map of Haiti showing the 2021 earthquake epicenter

On Monday, August 23, NYU McSilver’s Chief Operating Officer Rose Pierre-Louis spoke to Zerlina Maxwell on Signal Boost, the SiriusXM show she co-hosts with Jess McIntosh. This episode of Signal Boost touched on the challenges Haiti faces recovering from the August 2021 earthquake — as well as Tropical Storm Grace — in the wake of political instability and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Pierre-Louis helped contextualize Haitian struggle in the history of racial injustice and advocated for supporting Haitian-led relief groups. Listen to their conversation:
