
Genna Goins is the coordinator for the McSilver-led Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) where she contributes to the implementation of evidence-based strategies and training for caregivers and healthcare professionals working with children from birth to five years of age in New York in order to encourage healthy social and emotional development. Genna has prior experience working in the New Jersey Public Schools as well as research and project management skills.
Genna holds a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance with a double major in psychology from New York University. During her studies, she worked for a psychology research lab while also being an active freelance musician. Her research included collecting eye tracking data for a study examining how biases may influence jurors’ decision making and looking patterns when viewing video evidence in a court case.
