
Doris coordinates and assists at the McSilver Institute’s Center for Workforce Excellence in EBPs (CWE). As part of the CWE team, she helps to elevate the system of care in New York state regarding training clinicians to support youth with their mental health. Her work mainly focuses on coordinating trainings and events at the Center.
Prior to working at McSilver, Doris’s MA research focused on the gendered, raced, and classed implications of nonconsensual pelvic exams in OBGYN training spaces. She has also worked as a teaching assistant for Fulbright in Baden, Austria, and was an organizer for the Julián Castro Presidential Campaign in New Hampshire.
Doris studied at Skidmore College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in German. She also holds a Master of Arts in Critical Gender Studies from Central European University in Vienna, Austria. Doris speaks English, German, and Spanish.
