As part of the MCTAC team, Chiara coordinates and facilitates the development of trainings, tools, and resources to support ongoing behavioral healthcare transformation work across New York State. Her role includes communication with external partners, planning various events, and managing business deliverables. Chiara was formerly the Program Coordinator for the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) team, one of MCTAC’s partner programs within the McSilver Institute.
In 2025, Chiara completed the NYU Langone Part-time MBA Program at the Stern School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Elon University, with minors in Neuroscience and Leadership Studies, and she has volunteer extensively in the medical field, which has deepened her understanding of healthcare inequities and disparities.
Chiara is interested in how finances impact people’s access to and quality of healthcare, how assumptions about wealth show up in practice, and on a macro-level, how we can develop systems-level financial interventions, to assist individuals in having more equitable access to quality behavioral healthcare services. In this role, Chiara is working to enhance her knowledge of how policies and financial constructs have implications on the functionality of NY State healthcare systems.
