Bethel Mandefro

Center Manager, International Center for Child Health and Development

Bethel is a dynamic, collaborative, higher-ed professional with experience in program/project management, logistics and event planning, and budgeting and financial management for global programs. She has worked as the Center Manager for the International Center for Child Health and Development (ICHAD), founded by Dr. Fred Ssewamala, and prior to that, for the Harris World Law Institute at Washington University School of Law. She earned a Masters in International Affairs from Washington University; her final theses focused on the impact of government policies in improving access to clean water in Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Bethel loves traveling and has visited various countries across Africa, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She is a mom of four young girls and enjoys Zumba and yoga.
