Ezra Solidum supports the initiatives and operations at McSilver Institute’s AI Hub. She has also been working as a research assistant at McSilver as a graduate student, supporting research on suicide prevention in racial and ethnic youth. She has experience working in research in the field of mental health, neurobiology, and health equity, and in public health promotion in Rome, Cape Town, and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador.

Ezra holds a Master of Public Health degree from NYU’s School of Global Public Health. She conducted her thesis on the association of electronic bullying and suicide behaviors in racial/ethnic youth. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Health and Wellness Promoter in Ecuador, where she collaborated with community agencies to promote mental and physical health through yoga and exercise. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Missouri, where she conducted her thesis on the effects of the environment in mice predisposed to anxiety and depression.
