
Ervin Torres is a long-standing participant in the McSilver Institute’s unique Community Collaborative Board (CCB). The CCB consists of key stakeholders from the community in collaboration with University research staff and is charged with the design, development, and implementation of interventions focused on addressing the health and mental health needs of children and families. Mr. Torres is also a former parent coordinator with Step-Up, a school, family, and community based mental health intervention. In addition, he has served as a community coordinator and a parent-peer facilitator on several federally funded community-based participatory research projects.
