Last month, 13 second-year MSW students completed NYU Silver School of Social Work’s first-ever graduate-level, full-semester study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Watch this video to find out more about the program, which the McSilver Institute helped design and implement, and what it was like for NYU MSW candidates to take the same required courses offered at NYU’s Washington Square campus while diving completely into another country’s language, culture, and community.
The McSilver Institute helped create this study abroad program as part of the Silver School of Social Work’s endeavour to create global opportunities for studying social work. Visit the Silver School’s site for more information about current study abroad opportunities for MSW students and other students interested in bringing more international context into their academic experience at NYU.
