About the Strategies to Reduce Inequality Initiative
Persistent inequality requires a multidimensional approach to identify meaningful, sustainable solutions. To that end, New York University faculty from a wide range of schools and disciplines have come together to work on Strategies to Reduce Inequality (SRI). The SRI faculty group explores ways to advance research, work collaboratively with practitioners, bring speakers to campus, identify courses that can help students deepen their understanding of inequality and how to promote equality and inclusion — all with the intention of creating new knowledge to impact policies, systems, and communities.
